Book clubs in the news

Fun meeting at Sarah's-- thanks for the turkey and great hospitality, as usual, Sarah! I saw this amusing article on the antics and trials of book clubbers, and thought you all might like it too. Not that WE have any ayatollahs hijacking the discussions!

Hi ladies --
I stumbled onto your website and see that you live in my area. I'm a local author with a well-received first novel, and i've visited dozens and dozens of book clubs in the area for discussion and Q&A. Might be fun for your group to consider -- and the paperback comes out in February.

Hi D- Yes, Meredith's planning on having the meeting at her place on the 30th. I'm sure there will be lots of folks out of town (myself included), but if you're around, you should go! Her email is mamorgan88@aol.com. I didn't have your address until now, so email her and tell her to give you the details. I don't think she's been able to get her Blogger account up yet, so she can't post.
